Prasanna Jyothi Educational Trust

The Anuradha Foundation's Education Chapter completed a two year program in 2006 with Prasanna Jyothi, a child welfare activity program run by the Prasanna Trust. Founded by Swami Sukhabodhananda, Prasanna Jyothi is an orphanage for girls and is located in Puttanhalli in Bangalore. The girls are provided with good food, clothing and are sent to good schools for their education. They are also provided with opportunities to express themselves in various cultural activities like music, arts, drama, and handicrafts.

Anuradha Foundation granted scholarships and financed the higher education of five girls from Prasanna Jyothi. Vidya-Rani and Sharada were two of the recipients.

Vidhya Rani
Vidhya Rani's ambition was to become a teacher and work with young children. With the support of Anuradha Foundation, Vidhya Rani completed her teacher's training program.
Sharada
The Anuradha Foundation financed and supported Sharada's education as she pursued her goal of getting a diploma in engineering from the Polytechnic Institute in Bangalore.
